Yes, we’ve just had a flu outbreak AGAIN at our sanctuary. January and July are two bad months because of the rains, the humidity and the low temperatures…
It’s been really tough here for the last two weeks. It was the nursery group which first started with runny noses and ended with bad coughing and fever.

This time, Tommy and Pasa were extremely sick and had to be isolated along with Rosie, Vida and Bapu.
Unfortunately flu managed to reach the other group. You could here sneezing and coughing everywhere at the complex!
The two worst sick ones of our main group were our eldest and biggest boarders : Shasa, Mwisho and Washu.
Especially Washu was completely down and had to be given injections because he refused any oral treatment!
