Snakes are all around our sanctuary and we are lucky to have mongooses to help us regulate the snake population. A few days ago, we had the unexpected visit of a green snake. There aren’t many species of green snakes in this part of the world. However, we know about two of them which are very dangerous: the boomslang (Dispholidus typus) and the green mamba (Dendroaspis angusticeps) which are less numerous than the previous one… I believe this one is a boomslang, but I am not sure…
