We are pleased to share that thanks to the support of the OLSEN ANIMAL TRUST, the construction of a fourth enclosure for young chimpanzees at JACK sanctuary has taken an important step forward.
OAT has been supporting our sanctuary since2021, and, in 2024, it was the second sponsor to join this crucial initiative. Their contribution has enabled us to begin targeted work on the night quarters, a vital element for the safety and well-being of the chimpanzees. With the funds received, we have been able to:

begin building 2 double internal night cages used for sleeping and daily care,

install the first metal platforms that will serve as elevated sleeping areas,
- and start construction of a secure tunnel connecting the night quarters to the daytime outdoor space.
Although partial, this progress is significant. It reflects a shared commitment to improving the living conditions of the young chimpanzees.
