Robyn is a young friend who did some volunteering at J.A.C.K. earlier this year. When leaving, she mentionned she would help and do all her best to raise awareness about J.A.C.K.

This is how she managed to collect some funds during a huge rugby match last March.

Today, Robyn’s action is different: she has made a banner for J.A.C.K. which is currently to be seen at the AFRICA DOWN UNDER CONFERENCE in Perth. A nice way to promote J.A.C.K.’s conservation work in the DRC, isn’t it?

Thank you again, Robyn, and many thanks also to your Dad, Jason, who helps you achieve your goals in developing actions in favour of the hairy residents of J.A.C.K. Your Love and support are really appreciated!!!

J.A.C.K. is the name of our sanctuary but it is also the name of our dog. He is among the so many animals we have rescued so far and, because he is very playful and because he has a great heart, he has always been a good friend to the different rescued chimpanzees we have had.

At J.A.C.K., whatever the species, once an animal is suffering, we rescue it and reintroduce it if possible! This is how we are giving a peaceful life to 9 cats today. All of them were meant to die. Our oldest cat is 19 years old

Are celebrated today all the great Rangers who daily protect their fauna and flora and I want to highlight all these brave Rangers who lost their lives when courageously protecting the patrimony of their coutry! MANY THANKS to ALL OF THEM!

At J.A.C.K., we have 2 Rangers of the DRC National Parks (ICCN) on duty day and night to ensure the security of our rescued chimpanzees but also of our team. Their presence is essential as J.A.C.K has been through criminal arsons twice for the last 12 years…

J.A.C.K. wants to thank its ICCN partner for providing 2 armed Rangers from the National Parks. Conservation and enforcing laws aren’t always easy and therefore security is needed at the sanctuary!

Also, J.A.C.K. wants to thank the International Primate Protection League for its annual sponsorship in covering all our Rangers’ needs (read more on : https://www.jacksanctuary.org/security-at-j-a-c-k-thanks-t…/

MANY, MANY THANKS TO THE RANGERS FOR THEIR DAILY COMMITMENT!

AND ANY THANKS TO THE ICCN & TO IPPL AS WITHOUT THEIR HELP, THERE WOULDN’T BE ANY SECURITY AT J.A.C.K.!

July 14 was World Chimpanzee Day and the residents of our sanctuary partied too as they were offered extra apples!!!

Their futur is in our hands!

Robyn is an Australian teenager who did some volunteer work at the sanctuary a few months ago. Passionate about wildlife and primates, she flew back home with many great souvenirs in her mind and with the determination of doing her best to support her new furry friends!

This is how, despite all the work she had at school, Robyn managed to organise a fundraiser in Perth, the city where she lives! Thanks to her father, Jason, who is working for 1620 CAPITAL in the DRCongo, Robyn managed to insert J.A.C.K. Sanctuary in the flyer of a famous football event that took place in Perth on March 25th. Yes,  our Congolese Sanctuary indeed shared a whole page in the GLORY DAYS OFFICIAL MATCHDAY PROGRAMME with the Perth football team, PERTH GLORY, as both are being supported by 1620 CAPITAL!

A wonderful idea which enabled Robyn to spread awareness on great apes and J.A.C.K. during an important event and which helped her fundraise 500USD for her chimpanzee friends!

Dear Robyn, thank YOU so much for all that you do for LUNA and the other residents of J.A.C.K. Your Love and Help are greatly appreciated and represent a lot tho THEM!

Also, many, many thanks to Jason and to 1620 CAPITAL for their wonderful support and interest in our action!  Your aid helps J.A.C.K. provide its rescued oprhans with he best care!

Thank YOU all for THEM!

To all the Mothers who are having their “Special Day” today: have a great day and enjoy it!

YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE MOTHER’S DAY GIFT ON HER SPECIAL DAY?

Offer HER a gift that lasts all year – a gift that your Mother will always remember and that will become very special to HER!

Sponsor an orphaned chimpanzee of J.A.C.K. for less than 45c / day and be THE difference to your new furry Friend in a country where getting food and appropriate veterinary care is a daily challenge!

Your gift will make THREE HAPPY ONES: your Mother, the sponsored chimpanzee and yourself since you are taking part in a Conservation program rescueing great apes from extinction and also because you can receive a tax deduction if you live in the USA.

Therefore, I would like to thank our precious team for its dedication and hard work as without these great people, Franck & I would’t be able to give these orphans the best care!

° 2 ICCN Rangers: Mwewa & Kindala
